Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti recently released his budget for Fiscal-Year 2014-2015. This budget calls for only two Fire Academy classes that will yield approximately 96 new Firefighters and Paramedics in LA. During this same time, the LAFD is expected to LOSE more than 120 experienced Firefighters and Paramedics. Gain 96. Lose 120. We cannot continue to fall behind…
